What a difference a year makes?

In some ways yes but in many other ways things are the same as they ever were. In July of 2020, we brought in Kevin von Atzigen to speak to teachers about some simple techniques that could be used with students and personally to help alleviate financial stress during the early months in the pandemic. And as vaccines roll out and restrictions are lifted, people still have many concerns and ideas about stretching financial resources. Even so, financial concerns that our students face still impact our programs' viability. Questions still exist about how we can help alleviate students' worries when we educators are also facing the same uncertainty?

This July, we are revisiting our Financial Literacy session to answer some new questions that have arisen and reviewing previously provided practical tools that you can use in your own life and can easily adapt to your HSE or ESL programs. Kevin von Atzigen, Vice President at UMB Bank, returns to share his personal experiences and approach to financial basics have helped individuals and businesses become financially secure.

Registration opens on June 4, so mark your calendars and join us for this much-needed training even!

Zoom link and sample worksheets will be sent prior to the event.
Professional development credit is available and certificates will be sent after the Forum.
