THE 2019 DFW LITERACY SYMPOSIUM IS HERE! Registration for our annual DFW Literacy Symposium, co-sponsored by Literacy Texas, is open now! Our free day of training for adult education teachers, tutors, volunteers and administrators will feature Vicki Clark, organization and leadership development guru, as the general session trainer, Dr. Elvia Espino, advocate for educational empowerment, equitable education and special education issues, as the mid-day speaker and breakout sessions throughout the day. Sessions will include training for Adult Basic Education, High School Education and English as a Second Language instructors and resources for new and existing programs and administrators. A catered lunch will be provided. There is no charge to attend the Symposium, but registration IS REQUIRED. Each participant will receive a certificate of attendance with training hours recorded.
