 annual DFW Literacy Symposium\, co-sponsored by Literacy Texas\, is open n
 ow! Our free day of training for adult education teachers\, tutors\, volun
 teers and administrators will feature Vicki Clark\, organization and leade
 rship development guru\, as the general session trainer\, Dr. Elvia Espino
 \, advocate for educational empowerment\, equitable education and special 
 education issues\, as the mid-day speaker and breakout sessions throughout
  the day. Sessions will include training for Adult Basic Education\, High 
 School Education and English as a Second Language instructors and resource
 s for new and existing programs and administrators.  A catered lunch will 
 be provided.  There is no charge to attend the Symposium\, but registratio
 n IS REQUIRED.  Each participant will receive a certificate of attendance
