Adult literacy classes and their amazing impact are only possible because of dedicated individuals like you. We also know that finding appropriate resources can be difficult, especially on a tight schedule and budget.
That is why the Tarrant Literacy Coalition does all it can to provide the best resources, research, and development opportunities to support you and your students.
Tap into the power of strategic networks. Meet and collaborate at an event with other faith-based and community-based programs that possess unique strengths in serving adult learners.
Learn more even without a large budget for professional development. Discover new literacy techniques, practices, and skills at a training event or workshop without breaking the bank.
Participate in the continual process of curriculum development. Create and assess techniques that support your unique program and respond effectively to a student's needs.
Increase your social impact. Utilize and retain volunteers to assist in the classroom and advocate for the literacy cause. View the calendar to find an upcoming volunteer event.
Support your program. Incorporate new materials into lesson plans or encourage independent reading by supplying new books to students. Sign up to receive e-mail updates about available resources.
To receive assistance from the Coalition, we need to know more about you. Complete a provider directory application online or download the form and return it to us so we have your program information.
