First Friday Forum Series: Podcasts Revisited - tools and techniques to build lessons for any adult education classroom
October is a busy month for training! In addition to our DFW Literacy Symposium at the end of the month, Tarrant Literacy Coalition is also holding its monthly Forum Series event on the first Friday of the month. Our October session is a scary good training for any adult education classroom - whether basic education, high school equivalency test prep, or English language acquisition!
Join Wes as he revisits a topic near and dear to his heart (and ears) - taking a favorite podcast and developing supplemental material or even entire lessons for the classroom. He'll share free tools for transcribing, building interactive activities, visual tie-ins and more! And since October is Health Literacy Month, selections will be themed.
