It's all fun and games in Jennifer Steffen's ABE class, and she wants to teach you how she does it! Join Tarrant Literacy Coalition for the June Fourth Friday Forum in which Jennifer will teach participants how to include easy, fun, high-energy instruction into their lesson planning.
About the presenter: Jennifer Steffen was trained as an elementary school teacher and has 22 years' experience in education. She now teaches adult basic education for Fort Worth ISD and thrives on offering her students the opportunity to learn in a fun environment. Jennifer loves to use new, innovative and varied teaching techniques! Believing in a student-centered classroom, she says that even though improving reading fluency and comprehension is the goal, it is important to incorporate computer skills, communication skills, life skills, and FUN into her daily lessons.
