September's training with focus on writing in today's everyday world.

Writing is a fact of life. We apply for jobs, fill out forms at the doctor’s office, fill out tax documents, document activities on the job; writing is a necessary part of our everyday life and it’s important for our students to be able to navigate the written world. How do you best prepare your students to complete everyday writing tasks? Come to the September Fourth Friday Forum to learn how we can all better prepare our students to confidently provide for their families with increased language awareness.

Fourth Friday Forums are free community literacy training events. Topics vary month to month but may cover topics such as volunteer training and recruitment, ESL programming, GED updates and programming, Computer literacy, barriers to learning, and best practices of adult education.
