Our presenter will be Sharon Zambrzycki.
Sharon describes herself as "semi-retired" but active, and she desires to use her years of experience in nonprofit management to help others. After attending the Metroplex Literacy Coalition in March, Sharon offered her expertise to the Tarrant Literacy Coalition.
Having worked for more than 25 years in nonprofit and volunteer management, Sharon has a wealth of expertise and knowledge to share on this subject area. Her previous work has included tenure as Manager of the Volunteer Center for the Brazos Valley Council of Governments where she developed a Volunteer Center for nonprofit organizations in a seven-county area. Sharon was also the Regional Director for Big Brothers/Big Sisters in College Station where she was responsible for the organization's fundraising, marketing & community relations and special events. Additionally, she provided leadership to twelve regional staff programs during her time as the Director of Volunteer and Community Services for the Texas Department of Human Services in Austin.
Sharon currently teaches basic ESL at First United Methodist Church in Mansfield.
