Welcome to our three newly appointed board members: Alice Allen, Rob Morris, & Allen Crawford.
Alice Allen was appointed a new member of the Tarrant Literacy Coalition Board in December. She is a longtime resident of Fort Worth with an extensive background in housing and property investment. She is a Certified Credit and Housing Counselor. She heads two companies, ABS Investments and Allen & Associates Financial Consulting Services. She has volunteered in ministry at Christ Cathedral Church of Fort Worth, is the mother to three adult sons, and grandmother to four lovely grandchildren. Thanks for joining us Alice!
Rob Morris was recently elected to the Tarrant Literacy Coalition Board. This year he will also be appointed to serve as a leader on the board of the Tarrant Area Community of Churches. He currently serves as the senior minister at Ridglea Christian Church in Fort Worth and has a background in youth ministry, serving in churches all over Texas and in Raleigh, NC. Rob received his education from TCU and Duke Divinity School; he is a husband and father to three children. Welcome to the team Rob!
We also welcomed Allan Crawford to the Tarrant Literacy Coalition Board in December. He is currently self-employed as a freelance web developer and works with companies in the North Texas region to build strong web presences. Mr. Crawford previously worked for the Arlington Chamber of Commerce as Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He is a graduate of TCU where he received a B.S. in International Economics. Currently he serves on the TCU Young Alumni Board and is a member of both the United Way of Tarrant County’s Young Leaders Society and Income Council. We are glad to have you Allen!
